I created a new portfolio and accompanying website for photographer Gregory Cowley. This was a rebranding and refocusing of Gregory’s photography. The goal was to appeal more to magazine and editorial clients. And yes, I am talking about myself in the 3rd person.
Projects
Dr. Tingleton’s Miracle Apps is a small company that produces lifestyle apps for iPhones and iPads. This website was created to showcase the apps and to create a culture around the companies products.
The Biometric City is the title for a class that was created by Erik Adigard for CCA. Erik and I taught this class for 3 weeks in Paris to students from CCA.
Shanti Maurice is a luxury resort in the Indian Ocean. This site was created in WordPress to give the operators of the resort the tools they needed for marketing. Every aspect of the site is easily updateable by the team at Shanti Maurice.
This is a side project I’ve been working on since 2009. It is a film festival geared towards kids and adults of all skill levels. I designed everything including the logo and branding, the site pages, and all of the promotional materials for the festival. I also built this PHP/MySQL website that included user account areas, the ability sign up online, and even the ability to upload your final movie.
SP Controls.com needed a complete overhaul. I designed a layout that was more current with today’s website trends. I was also able to improve the performance of the website for search engine optimization and ease of updating.
In 2009 I became the technical director for 4by6com. It was my job to manage and program the back end for this online printing company. The PHP/MySQL-based website was only part of the equation. There was also an extensive AppleScript driven back end that fully automated the printing process. Clients could upload their files to the website and then receive their print product in the mail with minimal human interaction.
This is my own photography portfolio for my professional photography work. This is a flash-based website.
This company wanted an interactive splatter game that would allow people to create splatter art in the Jackson Pollock fashion, and then be able to e-mail their creations to their friends. It was meant to be a viral video. Stamen Design created the original files and I modified them to work with Action Script Three and added the additional components for e-mailing the creation. This is a flash-based game.
Luminox wanted a website that they could easily update themselves. To do this they needed a content management system as well as an entire site redesign, which I developed and designed. This is a PHP and MySQL-based website.
Juicystock was a stock photo library that I created. It is a PHP-based website with a database backend that allows people to search for photos and make purchases. The site also included the ability for additional photographers to submit and manage their work.
For Dog House Wines, I was asked to produce a site designed by Voicebox Creative. This flash-based website included XML supplied content, 3-D interactive navigation, and a scalable screen environment.
